Turning Plastic Waste Into Sustainable Value
In 2020, Jackson Gichuhi Karugo founded Giplast Kenya after studying industrial recycling in India-and seeing how little hard plastic was being recovered here at home. Today we operate across five counties, recycling thousands of kilograms of waste plastic into granules and pellets for manufacturers every week.
Structured Recycling
Collection, sorting by polymer type and colour, and processing at our Murang'a facility-backed by KDC startup financing and Progressive Credit working-capital support.
Community Impact
13+ local jobs, school and institution tours, and partnerships with collectors built on prompt payment and reliability.
Environmental Stewardship
